Eric J. Sheldon was a dance band leader and editor of the monthly industry magazine, “The
Australian Music Maker and Dance Band News”, 193236. In this photo he is seated at a desk
using the telephone. On the desk there is an ink well, pen holder, calendar and a book labelled
“DANCE BAND NEWS”. Lennon was the official photographer for the magazine.
